Exclusive Interview: Marissol Savagin on Motherhood, Leadership, and Representing Brazil at Universal Woman 2026

Winning Universal Woman Brazil 2026 marks a defining chapter in your life. What does this title represent to you beyond the crown?

Winning Universal Woman Brazil 2026 represents much more than a title. It is a responsibility and a commitment to serve with purpose. For me, the crown symbolizes the opportunity to inspire, to give a voice to meaningful causes, and to represent Brazilian women with dignity, compassion, and authenticity. True success is not measured by a crown, but by the lives we are able to touch.

From being discovered as a teenager to representing Brazil on the international stage, what has been the most transformative moment of your journey?

Motherhood has been the most transformative experience of my life. It taught me that real strength comes from love, resilience, and responsibility. Becoming a mother changed the way I see success and gave me a deeper purpose. Today, every achievement has greater meaning because I know my children are watching the example I choose to set.

As an entrepreneur, mother, and beauty queen, how do you balance these different roles while staying true to yourself?

Balance comes from knowing my priorities and staying connected to my values. My faith, my family, and my purpose guide every decision I make. I don’t believe in being perfect—I believe in being authentic. Whether I’m working, raising my children, or representing my country, I try to lead with integrity and kindness.

Your social project has focused on education for over a decade. Why is education such an important mission for you, and what impact do you hope to create?

Education changes lives. It gives children the opportunity to dream beyond their circumstances and build a better future. For more than ten years, I have dedicated myself to supporting educational initiatives because I believe knowledge creates confidence, independence, and hope. My dream is to help more children discover their potential and believe that their future has no limits.

Universal Woman celebrates women with purpose and leadership. How do you define modern beauty in today’s world?

Modern beauty is no longer about appearance alone. It is about character, empathy, intelligence, and the courage to make a positive impact. A truly beautiful woman uplifts others, leads with compassion, and uses her voice to inspire change. Beauty becomes timeless when it is guided by purpose.

Representing Brazil in Cambodia is a tremendous responsibility. What message do you hope to share with the international community?

I want to show the world that Brazil is a country rich not only in culture and natural beauty, but also in kindness, resilience, diversity, and human warmth. I hope to encourage unity, respect between cultures, and the belief that when women support one another, we create stronger communities and a better future for everyone.

Fashion has always been an important part of your public image. How do you use style as a way to express your personality and represent Brazilian culture?

Fashion is a language without words. Through elegance, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design, I express confidence, femininity, and respect for my roots. I love incorporating Brazilian creativity into my style while embracing a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic that reflects who I am.

Your return to pageantry came after motherhood and building a successful career. What inspired you to step back onto the stage at this point in your life?

I returned because I realized that dreams do not have an expiration date. Life had given me experience, maturity, and a clearer sense of purpose. I wanted to prove that women can embrace every stage of life with confidence, and that motherhood makes us stronger, not smaller. This journey is about representing women who continue to dream with courage.

Throughout your career, what has been the greatest lesson that has shaped the woman you are today?

I’ve learned that resilience is one of life’s greatest strengths. Challenges will always exist, but they do not define us. What defines us is how we respond—with faith, discipline, humility, and perseverance. Every obstacle has helped shape the woman I am today.

Looking beyond Universal Woman 2026, what legacy do you hope to leave for future generations of women who dream of making a difference?

I hope to leave a legacy that reminds women they never have to choose between kindness and strength. I want future generations to believe that elegance comes with integrity, leadership begins with service, and true beauty is measured by the positive impact we leave on others. If my journey encourages even one woman to believe in herself and use her voice to make the world better, then I will consider my mission fulfilled.
